THE OWNERS
RANDOLPH BELLE
RBA Creative was founded by Randolph Belle in 2007 as a graphic design and communications firm in 1990. RBA then evolved to be affiliated with a host of businesses that enable them to provide a comprehensive offering of creative and consulting services. In 2017, Randolph expanded RBA to include co-working for creative businesses, space for visual artists, and a photography studio.

RBA is an acronym for Randolph Belle, Artist. Randolph was a visual artist in his early career; painting, airbrushing and working with youth through his nonprofit Support Oakland Artists (SOA). You can still catch him drawing or painting when he has time. Together, Randolph and Erica have created a space and business that is an asset to the Laurel shopping district.
ERICA WRIGHT-BELLE
Randolph’s wife, Erica, joined RBA Creative in 2017 to run operations for the facility. Early on, she quickly found a way to utilize her creative skills by taking on marketing. She organized events and used social media to gain a following for RBA. Now, in addition to overseeing marketing and membership sales, she works with Randolph on consulting services, continues to organize events, and supports RBA’s exhibition members. Her passion for the arts, and background in administration, and property management have equipped her well for this venture.

Erica has always been a supporter of all the arts, but her favorite is Dance. She holds a B.A. in Performance and Choreography from San Francisco State University and is a certified Pilates instructor. Through many life experiences, she’s gained a combination of artistic and business skills. When she’s not running RBA or dancing, you can find her hanging out with her two daughters, hiking, or gardening.
